PUTRAJAYA, 28 October 2024 - YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Perumahan and Local Government has officiated the National Level World City Planning Day (HPBS) Celebration Ceremony at Everly Hotel, Putrajaya this morning.
Themed “Semua Efforts to Build a Sustainable and Smart City #DemiPertiwi”, HPBS 2024 is jointly organized by the Ministry of Perumahan and Local Government (KPKT) through the Department of Town and Rural Planning (PLANMalaysia), Planners Organization Malaysia (MIP), Pretasi Wave Coordination Unit (PACU), Prime Minister’s Department (JPM), Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM), Putrajaya Corporation (PPJ) and City Planning Board of Malaysia (LPBM).
In the ceremony, YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming also presented the Malaysia Urban Planning Awards (MUPA) 2024 to the 21 recipients of the Sustainable City Award 2024 , 20 recipients of the Malaysia Smart City Rating Award 2024 and 10 recipients of the Best Planning Practice Award.
Congratulations and well done Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) for successfully bagging 3 awards namely the Most Sustainable City Award 2024 Best Child-Friendly Environment Award 2024 and the Honorable Minister of Perumahan and Local Government Best Planning Practices Special Award for 2024 YBrs. Tuan Hj. Mohamad Zahri bin Hj. Samingon, Mayor of Petaling Jaya was present to receive the award.
