MBPJ Health and Environment Services Department led by Deputy Director (Health), Puan Mahzura Binti Mohd Amin has conducted a visit to Pasir Gudang City Council Store led by Dr Muhammad Razif Bin Ramlan, Head of Licensing Division, Public Health, Environment and Licensing Department.
The visit is aimed at gaining knowledge about store management and storage of chemicals that are managed by the PBT in ensuring that the store is managed in an organized and safe manner.
In addition, the purpose of the visit is also to give new ideas to MBPJ staff in improving the safety and health aspect of occupational especially in the chemical store area as well as organized management of Scheduled Waste Materials (BBT).
MBPJ was also given some briefing and sharing by Puan Siti Fatimah Binti Abdul Rahim about store management, chemicals management and scheduled waste management in MBPG store. The process of composing food waste by Black Soldier Fly at the Sustainable Center was also explained to MBPJ.
It is hoped that the knowledge that has been shared together by MBPG can be used to improve the management of the Vector Control Unit store at Damansara City Innovation Center.
