The Japanese delegation led by Mr. Isao Hayashi, Mayor of Miyoshi, were brought to visit the Child Friendly Bus Stop in SMK Assunta, PJKita Community Library in Kg. Lindungan as well as Inclusive Park in Taman Aman. The delegation later moved to Restaurant Meng Yang Two in Kota Damansara, which is the first child-friendly coffee shop in Petaling Jaya. The restaurant has been upgraded with a range of special facilities for kids.
The delegation also had the opportunity to join the Petaling Jaya International Youth Leadership Camp (PJIYLC) 2024 program at The Spine @ PJKita. They enjoyed the experience of making Batik Chanting as well as watching traditional dance performances. Before returning home, the delegation was taken to the MBPJ Agricultural Research and Learning Innovation Center in Kelana Jaya. There, Mr. Yan Neuhoff of Green Street Farms delivered a briefing as well as managed a 'Farm Tour'.
YBrs. Tuan Hj. Mohamad Zahri bin Hj. Samingon, Mayor of Petaling Jaya also spent time joining the delegation in conducting visits to the first two locations.
