- Monitor and evaluate the progress of the Local Agenda 21 sustainable development process.
- Implement publicity programs on Local Agenda 21.
- Carry out public awareness programs and training on local agenda.
- Become a secretariat to the LA21 Committee.
- Coordinate sustainable development planning.
Safe City Unit
- Safe City Unit.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Safe City Program.
- Implement a publicity program on Safe City.
- Become a secretariat to the Safe City Program Implementation Committee.
- Prepare and monitor the action plan and development project strategy as directed by the Petaling Jaya Safe City Implementation Committee.
