This workshop is a pro-active step of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to discuss the strategy, role, action and time period that the Council, YTSB as a One Stop Agency (OSA), Land Office, related agencies, service provider companies and land owners to ensure that the telecommunication transmitter structure whitening program is not registered in Petaling Jaya can be completed before 31 December 2025 as stipulated by the State Government.
In addition, the workshop also aims to inform about the current policies and guidelines used at the Council level, the incentives proposed to the company and also the enforcement actions to be taken if the company still fails to provide cooperation.
Workshop held on September 10, 2024 at Le Meridien Hotel, Petaling Jaya has been inaugurated by YB Tuan Dr. Mohammad Fahmi bin Ngah, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Islamic Religious Affairs, Halal Industry, Science Culture, Technology & Innovation (STI), Digital Infrastructure and present with YBhg Tuan Aznan Bin Hj Hassan, Deputy Mayor of Petaling Jaya.
