SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS & DEVELOPMENT
- Manage the Small and Medium Business Development Sub-Committee Meeting and report status to the Sustainable Development Committee.
- Coordinate the proposed development of a hawker site for Council lands.
- Assisting Assessment and Property Management Department in submission of Council booths in commercial buildings to the Council.
- Coordinate the appointment of the stalls management body of the Council.
- Provide technical comments to the Licensing Department for proposed night market / farmer market / morning market as well as business licenses involved.
- Carry out programs and activities to cater for the development of small and medium businesses in Petaling Jaya.
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
- Organize meetings of the Subcommittee on the Development of International Relations and make status reports to the Sustainable Development Committee
- Establishing formal relationships and collaboration and promoting Petaling Jaya city to international cities through Sister City and Friendly City initiatives
- Conduct research and programs from time to time to strengthen relationships with international cities
- Carry out efforts to participate in international programs and programs such as UNHabitat etc.
