ii.    Exterior Display Advertising Inventory Review In Petaling Jaya.

• A census on exterior display advertising was conducted from 6 to 20 April 2010. It aims to get the exact position of external advertising display locations on the site via cross-referencing with satellites using Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
• An External Advertisements Information System is developed to show the results of a census that allows the public to know the status, location, size and other information regarding one advertisement display from time to time. In addition, this system is developed as a data bank for information quickly and helps to make planning decisions more effective .

iii.    Working Study Visit By Johor Bahru City Council

The Development Planning Department welcomed a visit of officers from the Johor Bahru City Council on 6 May 2010. A total of 5 officers were present to hear briefings on ad / billboard management in Petaling Jaya. The briefing was presented by Encik Zain Azly Abd Rahman, Deputy Director, Development Planning Department in Red Room, Level 2, Petaling Jaya City Council.

 

 

 

 

iv.    Working Study Visit by State Government of Penang

Development Planning Department welcomed a visit from the Penang State Government on 28 July 2010. 2 officers were present to hear briefings on ad / billboard management in Petaling Jaya. The briefing was given by Mr Derek Fernandez, Petaling Jaya City Council Member in Red Room, Level 2, Petaling Jaya City Council.
